Hole #1 is 120 yards, is set facing north and is a fair par 3. You can play it straight for the pin or go for the "member's bounce" off the left front.

A left side fairway bunker is visited by many who frequent the course and is a good chip to the green. The greenside bunker on the right, takes a steady hand to chip on and hold.

The green slopes from northeast to southwest, and this break must be taken into consideration when going for a putt.

Positioned to the west of the clubhouse is a tournament tee box at 175 yards, which puts another perspective on the first hole.
